Sand Sculptures at Westport’s Compo Beach


We had a lot of fun looking at the sand sculptures at Compo Beach today. This is annual event to raise money for Homes with Hopes. Wow, amazing how people can take some sand, water, and imagination and build works of art. We didn’t stay for the judging, but we saw some pretty neat sculptures like a replica of the Inn at Longshore, a bikini babe with a bathing suit of shells, 4 people with their heads in the sand (“Politics as Usual”), a winter wonderland, sea creatures, and more! Mads took a picture with a lobster that WZR wanted nothing to do with except giving her a hi-five. It was really a gorgeous day! Check out the slideshow below!
