Easy Recipe: Oatmeal-Chocolate Chip Waffle Cookies

The waffle iron can be used to bake cookies, too! This really easy recipe from finecooking.com made good oatmeal-chocolate chip cookies in the shape of a waffle. Instead of waiting for the cookies to bake for 20 or so minutes, the waffle iron baked them in 3-4 minutes (automatic timer). We ate them plain and then we had them for dessert after dinner. Warm them up in the microwave and scoop your favorite ice cream on top of it for a yummy treat.

P.S. I have a Belgian waffle maker, so I only got to make 12 cookies instead of the 24 the recipe is supposed to make.
