I can’t remember why I wanted to read this book in the first place, but I got it through Bookmooch and it was an ex-library book sent from Australia. Cool book to keep just for those reasons alone. It’s a really quick-read (about 100 pages) with a deep thought – the power of imagination; if you believe hard enough it will become real. I’m still thinking about it 3 days later. The power of suggestion can also be very convincing.
Basically, Kellyanne has 2 imaginary friends, Pobby and Dingan, and her older brother does not play along with this. I may have missed it, but I have no idea how old Kellyanne is. One day, her father takes them to work with him while she goes to school. Unfortunately, he neglects to bring them home and Kellyanne realizes that they have gone missing. She also becomes very sick. It is the brother who actually helps her find Pobby and Dingan. There is a great synopsis of the story here, but it does contain spoilers.
