Learning face painting

July 1, 2009 · Leave a Comment

We got a facepainting book that came with an unused set of paints for $2 at the Norfield Fair. It took a while for me to open the paints because of my bruised ego. I learned that I can’t draw from rejected drawings of turtles and bears from the judges of the magazine contests. Yes, I really did try to win. Well, what you see in the picture is my second attempt, but first try on the face. Mads loved it, so I can relax and have fun with her. If I can learn to do these quickly and without looking at the pictures, you can expect some interesting play dates in the future!

I'm no Picasso, but I have to start somewhere, right?
